Birthday ceremony at preschool

Jasper's preschool has a cute birthday ceremony for each child:  they hold a globe and walk around a candle representing the sun.  Jasper walked around three times because he is three years old.  They also show their classmates pictures from past birthdays.  J was feeling a little shy about his birthday ceremony but his teacher encouraged him.  It helped that there was an older boy with the same birthday - they did their ceremonies together.

Last week, Jasper got to meet his new cousin, Ory, who was born on January 10th. Technically Ory and Jasper are second cousins, once removed. But that's too complicated. I bet they will be great buddies!
