Last evening, we took Jasper to a birthday party for one of his preschool classmates at a place called Pump it Up! If you asked your average preschooler what their dream birthday party would look like, it would definitely be this place - a huge warehouse full of inflatable play structures, pizza and cupcakes. Just realized we haven't posted anything new in weeks! We are leaving for Kauai tomorrow - here's a cute video to tide you over until we get back and can post vacation pictures.

Sonoma Weekend

We had a lovely long weekend in Sonoma where we went for bike rides, went wine tasting, hung out by the pool, had some great meals and visited Train Town. Jasper learned that grapes grow on grapevines and that wine is made from grapes. He's very sophisticated for a toddler!

We had a great visit to Oma and Opa's house including two plane trips, plenty of time in the pool (Jasper got to swim naked!), a trip to the beach, playing with Hot Wheels and reading books with Oma!

My phone (Iphone 3G) died last week - of course I was no longer under warranty but they "kindly" allowed me to purchase an Iphone 4 for a discounted price. Most features seem about the same but I'm very impressed with the camera. There is a "high definition resolution" option and a flash and less blurring than before. In fact, I think the pictures are just as good, if not better, than my Canon camera. See for yourself. (Watching the mail for my endorsement check, Steve Jobs)

Visit from Oma and Opa

This post is way overdue since Opa and Oma's visit was in March. Despite it being the rainiest weekend of the season, we still had a great visit including a trip to Monterey, visit to the aquarium, running on the beach and lots of delicious seafood (apologies to the lovely creatures at the aforementioned aquarium).
