Dessert!

It was a gorgeous, hot day in San Francisco so we decided to treat ourselves to dinner at Foreign Cinema and eat on the patio. We ordered the children's menu for Jasper. He tried all the vegetables on his appetizer plate and took a big swig of the sherry vinaigrette dressing but then turned up his nose at the house-made pasta with organic tomato sauce. However, dessert was a big hit - chocolate and vanilla ice cream with whipped cream on top!!

Hardware store

Jasper loves to go to the hardware store with Dada. This time he saw a forklift loading bags of cement onto a pallet - that's about as good as it gets in Jasper's world. New words now include "ladder" and "hammer".

Tail or no tail?

First trip to the snow

This weekend, we drove up to Tahoe to stay with Gaga and Bob and introduce Jasper to the snow. Paul had a fantasy that he would love it: make snow angels, frolic, sled, etc. As you can see, the reality turned out a bit differently. He did seem to like sledding - we even got a smile! But the next day at the snow park, he got some snow in his face and it was all over. Thankfully a bear shaped cookie makes everything all better.
